Comparison

If we compare ourselves with others, it would take eternity long. Cause truth is, we will never be perfect. :)

We make the choice

Just as this boy was reflecting on his life, he turned back his life to one year ago when he entered into mild depression days. He remembered at that point of time, he decided to let everyone out of his life and shut himself away from people. After a while, he chose to open up to a friend, got better but yet he went back to self-pitying again. He continued his busy yet 'lonely' life. He felt an emptiness and he prayed and prayed again for someone, or an angel or a friend to come to talk to him, to befriend him. He wanted to change yet at the same time, he kept reminding himself of times he was disappointed by people, that even when friends wanted to come closer and "enter" his life, he never opened up. He was disappointed once again and he went back to "self-depression" days again. He cried and cried and cried, asking God, "Where were You when i need You....", but he never realised, he had turned down the prayer answers when God was answering them.

Time will continue ticking irregardless how we are feeling. Time do shows everything but if we don't make any choices, we wont see anything happening. Choices made shows us who we really are.

Sudden reminder to myself, "Who we are in one year from down is determined by the thoughts we allow in our head and who we allow in our lives one year to come." We have the choice to allow who we want to become. We choose the thoughts that should stay in our head. We choose the friends we want to be in our life. & we cannot go around blaming people for who we have become, JUST BECAUSE we didn't make a choice to accept or to make effort to change our situation.

Ultimately all of us have a choice to make us become the person we want to.

& sometimes some things means so much to some people.
Was watching X-Factor on Youtube (and its really woohoo) and to win that show or to stay in the game is their life. But all of them know, to stay in the game, they have to pay a price, to practise their vocals, their stage presence and it means hard work. They can pray hard to win, but if they don't put in any effort to practise, all will boil down to nothing. Faith without works is dead.

What we really want shows who we really are. 

But still... I pray my choice is His choice. :)

Do not take something Holy as common

"Their irreverence took place after the revelation of God's glory. Though they(Nadah and Abihu) were priests, they were not exempt from rendering God honor. They sinned by approaching a holy God as though He were common! They had become too familiar with His presence.

I pray... May i never ever treat His holy things as something common. Never.. Cause i never want to lose His presence. 

Life like it is

I wonder why people refer to my old archives... but it made me interested in my old life.

I guess my older younger days are more interesting than what it is now. Going out, having lots of party or celebrations... But i have no regrets or i should have no regrets. Because the life i have now is much better, and it is and i should be thankful!


Ps 73:1-5

No doubt about it! God is good—
good to good people, good to the good-hearted.
But I nearly missed it,
missed seeing his goodness.
I was looking the other way,
    looking up to the people
At the top,
    envying the wicked who have it made,
Who have nothing to worry about,
    not a care in the whole wide world.

Got reminded of the above verse again and again. He is good and forever good.

And i rlly llike what PK shared ytd during svc. Elijah's a man of unstable emotions, had sucidal thoughts, ran away, but yet he was still able to call down fire. If he could do it in the old testament with limited righteousness, what about us in the new testament with unlimited righteousness.

He is UNLIMITED
Stop staying in your LIMITED THOUGHTS.

I thank God for my life, my family, my boyfriend, my friends, my cellgroup and all and all.

Even in times when things doesnt go my way, still i PRAISE. still i GIVE THANKS.
No more looking at the other way... But FOCUS on HIS WAY.

Bought "The Fear of the Lord" last Sunday and just the first chapter was so woah. 

Fear of the Lord brings us closer... Not a spirit of fear but a reverence.. to want to know more.

Purpose again.

If there ain't no purpose, then how do you continue going on?
If there ain't no purpose in the relationship, then what's the point.
If there ain'r no purpose for you to do your ministry, then how do you continue on?

Not just having a purpose, let it be a God-purpose.
Something that's eternal. An true purpose that's worth fighting for.

Abba Father's Love

Week after week giving BS to members, i always have brand new experiences about that certain subject.

First, the WoG, and secondly, Abba's Father Love...
Was gonna leave house today and Dad came down from upstairs. Asked him where he was going, and then he asked me, and of course as usual im going to work. & then he was going to sent me to interchange when he asked, 吃了没有？Just a question like that makes me feel loved.

Went to eat and then i was gonna run late . if he didnt tell me, i wouldnt even realise it. & he told the person to dapao the toasted bread and then we went off. Just this simple act of remembering... Means so much to me. .

& this week, during staff devotion, the Word was all about remembrance.. God remembers, Our Abba Father remembers.. Department meeting, Henry says, if I could give Olili what she wants, what else will Abba not give.. Then Cynthia's blog on Abba Father.

Again & again, im being reminded of the topic i taught.
More than just teaching, i get another new revelation. That's what i love about BS, both ways, being taught and teaching.

& yesterday, after "mini jam" of P&W @ Paul's place, this just hit me.
Intimacy with God cannot be measured with time and friendship with any other people. There is just this sense of fulfillment human cannot satisfy, but only Him. & i want, i pray with all my heart, i want to reach there once again. A place of total abandonment, a place of reliance on Him.

Before the day begins..

Dearest Val..... :) THANKFUL FOR YOU!

It's a NEW day.

Words cannot describe how awesome it was at Leader's meeting last night. An atmosphere changed , but yet His presence is really so magnificent. Just felt like His Glory entered, and angels were flying around hovering us.

It's really time to get back into the flow, and not just in the flow doing nothing. Not just having the input in but time for the output. Time to pray, time to grow, time to plant even more incorruptible seeds and time to lead people to the higher level.

& in the midst of all this, I just want to be thankful.
Thankful once again for working in church office, for the department that handles directly with our Promise Land, serving God, sitting near Pst's office, near all the wonderful people in the zone. I am thankful, so thankful, so thankful. Thankful for Paul, thankful for Jy, thankful for my CG, thankful for friends who are still here standing by me.

I don't count my losses, i count my Joy and my gain and God who's in my life.

Love what PK said ytd. When we put expectations on ourselves and we dont meet it, we get disappointed, we get dissatisfied, and to an extreme, we get angry with God why we tried so hard yet again and again we fail. #truestory
& it only goes to show, its time to place all expectations on Him, and only Him. Not in people, in circumstances, in our strength & abilities and while we rest in Him, this supernatural strength will ease our heart, and thru us, God will win the battle.

Trust and Obey, for there's no other way, to be happy in Jesus, Just to trust and obey.
The Land of Rest is our inheritance, our promise land.
Just like stc, we will enter in w a mindset of rest, an ease of mind. Time to A&B! :D
