No longer will i forfeit Grace

I am so thankful that i can always serve the zone in the little ways and am given chances to serve, ever since the first few week i entered cg, Rae asking me to do little things slowly then to rise up, to Inspire Camp Faith to U-Tribe to U-Fit to so many other larger things than before.

Was just thinking about this in the toilet, i get all kind of thoughts in the toilet. but yeah...

In the ministry, sometimes when we rise up or perform or serve or a certain kind of reward/prize given, we tend to have this certain "spotlight" on us. & sometimes after serving or a certain period of time, some of us become so used to the spotlight to be on us. No matter how we get the spotlight on us, we grow to like the idea of the spotlight to be on us, we totally forget why in the first place the spotlight was on us.

The place where we should return to is the reason why we wanted to serve in the first place, just a heart of humility, wanting to bless people. If we lose this, ultimately, the spotlight will be gone and when we want to serve again, it's just too late.

& then we will start to dwell in this self-made valley, swimming in self-pity thoughts wondering why our position is taken away and dk when will we ever go back to serve. If we cannot be faithful with the title, why will we given it? Ultimately it's not about us.

Just the above thoughts, i feel everyone should think about it, either you served very long or just started, including me. Dont ever ever think you're there yet, or you're so great alrdy. We so need to have this heart of humility, cause we have so much to learn from the leaders above us. God exalts the humble and humbles the proud. He cannot use a heart that is not broken.

May i learn to guard my heart in every ways,
to stay faithful in the little, and not let myself run wild and be proud.
Just a heart of humility.
